We collect your email address, name, and usage data when you create an account. We also store course and module content that you create using the Service, as well as chat transcripts with our AI assistant.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, authenticate your identity, generate AI-assisted instructional content, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Your interactions with the AI assistant are processed by third-party language models. We do not use your course content or chat data to train external AI models. Aggregated or anonymized data may be used to improve the Service.
We may share data with service providers who assist in operating the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, AI inference). All providers are bound by confidentiality obligations. We may disclose data if required by law or university policy.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account and course data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with university records retention policies.
You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting Dr. Timothy M. Stafford (tstafford@stu.edu). You may also request a copy of the data we hold about you.
The Service uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page.
